THE fifth annual Bratton at War event comes to Bratton this month, this year with the theme of ‘Limelight on Youth’ in aid of SSAFA, supporting our forces and their families.
On Saturday 22nd and Sunday 23rd September, groups will be demonstrating as many activities of the Home Guard and home front as possible. People are welcome from across the county and beyond to this successful annual event.
You can expect model helicopters on display; military and vintage vehicles; The 1970s WASP helicopter; static displays; living history groups; music and dancing, WW1 tank replica and fun and entertainment for all the family.
There will also be a SSAFA raffle and tombola with a £1 entry and the chance to enjoy the on-site bar. Entrance is £5 per adult or £4 if in costume, £2 per child with under 5 free or £3 OAP. Family tickets of 2 adults and 2 children are £10.
The event will take place on the B3098, Westbury Road, BA13 4TT from 10.30am-4.30pm both days.
