The popular TV antique expert, Paul Martin, will be returning to the Horse & Groom next month to host another free community valuation day, following a successful visit in May.
The valuation day, which will take place on Wednesday 14th August between 11am and 4pm, is intended to encourage members of the public to dust off those items they’ve always been curious about and bring them along to be discussed, valued and perhaps sold.
“I’m thrilled to be back at the Horse & Groom and looking forward to meeting more people from Westbury and the surrounding area,” said Paul Martin.
“I’d love to see any gold, silver or jewellery that people want to either get valued or they want it go to a new home. Also, anyone who has items that relate to Westbury or the area itself, especially if it speaks to its heritage. Those items are always so interesting to see and understand the stories related to them.”
Carol Musker, landlady at the Horse & Groom, said, “People were queueing up last time waiting for him to arrive so we are hoping for another successful visit.”
