Residents in Edington have bid farewell to their long-serving post lady, who has retired after 31 years delivering post in the village.
To mark Lin Sanders’ retirement and celebrate her dedication, Edington Parish Council invited her to a small reception last month.
“Lin has repeatedly gone above and beyond to support the villagers,” said an Edington resident. “She often went out of her way to ensure post and parcels were delivered safely and securely. We shall miss her greatly, but we hope to still see her around the village as she stables her horses here.”
Lin’s final working day was 28th December, bringing an end to over three decades of service.
