OVER the coming months Westbury Conservative Club will be holding several free live music events.
On Saturday 30th September, retro rock ‘n’ roll band The Defibrillators will take the stage. The Somerset-based Defibrillators play rock and roll from the 50s, 60s and 70s, as well as their own material.
Local band Brakelight take to the stage on Friday 6th October. Brakelight are four Westbury men playing blues rock influenced by artists like ZZ Top and Led Zeppelin.
The band promise to keep the crowd pumped and rocking out all evening, so remember to wear comfortable shoes!
On Friday 20th October three-piece band The Ray Jones Band will play at the club.
Comprising of Ray Jones (guitar and vocals), Mark Griffin (drums) and Paul Farrant (bass and vocals), the band play a mixture from rock to modern-day classics and a few of their own songs thrown in the mix too.
Later on in the year Train to Skaville, Indecision and Forgery are all set to play at the Conservative Club
