YOUNG runner, Lucas Wint, braved muddy conditions to complete the Bowerhill Bomber 5k race on Sunday 2nd February, raising over £600 for Bath Cancer Unit Support Group.
11-year-old Lucas came fifth overall in the 5k race but first in his age category, 11-16 years old, completing the 5k run around Bowerhill in 23 minutes and 37 seconds.
Lucas continues his fundraising runs in memory of his best friend’s grandmother who died last September. For this run, he set himself the target of raising £50, but the total currently sits at over £600.
