Get your garden looking rosey!

ROSE’S Gardening Services have been proving that providing a good, trustworthy, and down-to-earth service is the secret to success. Little over a year ago Westbury resident Rupert Rose set up the service, determined to not only provide a service of an exceptionally high standard, but one that could provide clients with the peace of mind of who they were letting into their gardens. Now, the service has gone from a one-man-band to a thriving business that employs a team of seven local people and already has awards and accreditations under its belt – not to mention shining customer testimonials. And aside from the high quality of the work, what has really set the business apart is its emphasis on providing a trustworthy and caring service. Rose’s Gardening Services say that they pride themselves on doing an honest job for an honest price, and tailoring every job to the customer’s desire. It’s about making sure that those who are elderly, disabled, vulnerable, or with children can trust who they are letting into their grounds.  The business has become the first in Wiltshire to be approved by trading standards’ ‘Buy with Confidence Scheme’; is registered with Age UK in Wiltshire and Somerset, and all staff are CRB checked. And most recently, Rose’s Gardening    Service won the Chamber of Commerce’s 2011 Service Excellence Awards. Any work starts with a free competitive quote with no obligation. And with spring in the air, the service is buzzing as it helps local people with their gardens, from those who want a one-off blitz to tidy it up for the summer, to those who have a more ambitious project in mind. Green tasks the service covers includes lawn mowing and lawn care, hedge cutting, land clearing and weed control, and any gardening tasks requiring some green fingers. But the service also carries out more heavy duty work such as building, repairing, and painting fences and gates; gravelling; pressure washer cleaning for patios, drives, and paths; and cleaning, glazing, and repairing greenhouses. Rupert has brought in a new service this summer, having been disappointed with the quality of sheds bought online. He has now sourced a supplier of good quality, bespoke sheds, which he can buy and install for his customers. Rose’s Gardening Services would like to thank their hard-working team, who continue to build up a good rapport with their customers. With 25 years of experience in the field behind him, Rupert’s speciality is working with wood, but he is also well able to take on any of the other services. Green-fingered Rebecca is a firm favourite with her clients as she carries out gardening work on borders and pruning. A skilled handyman, Lloyd takes on more manual work such as fences and pressure washing, while apprentice Jake is on hand to help Lloyd and any of the team with his ever increasing range of skills.
