Discounted electric vehicle charging is being introduced in Westbury in a move aimed at encouraging motorists to stop and spend time in the town centre.
The scheme, agreed by Westbury Town Council’s Climate Emergency Sub-Committee, will see half-price charging available on Saturdays at the High Street Car Park.
“The initiative is designed to encourage people not just to pass through Westbury, but to stop and spend time in the town while their car is charging,” said a spokesperson from the town council.
