FIRST Steps to Worship, the parent and children group that meets at All Saints Church, Westbury, recently celebrated its 27th birthday.
The group was started in 1990 by Reverend Dorothy Bellamy and continues to meet on Wednesday mornings for fun and music.
On Wednesday 10th May the group celebrated the big day with songs, balloons and a cake made by Sharon Jones who has been running the group for at least 20 years.
When the group first began 27 years ago, Sharon was one of the first to attend with her own children. About the group Sharon said, “It is nice to bring the children together where they can have fun and get used to being in church.”
