THE diary for Charlie’s Bar is bursting with live acts, from bands that play rock, blues, scar, punk, reggae and pop. Make a note of the dates and don’t miss your chance to see the talent they know you will enjoy.
On Friday 3rd, 9pm-11.30pm, South West band Full Tilt will be playing. Their no-nonsense rock covers feature material drawn from the last four decades, including classic rock tracks by AC/DC, Status Quo, Queen and UFO, pub rock from the likes of Dr Feelgood and Wilko Johnson, through to more contemporary numbers by Foo Fighters and Slash.
Three-piece rock band Stop! Stop! will take the stage on Saturday 4th July, 9pm-11.30pm. Linda Parker from Wolf Band Management & Music Promotion said, “They are fun, extravagant and quite frankly one of the best glam/hard rock bands I have ever seen.”
On July 10th, 9.30pm-11.00pm, covers band Black Widow will perform their popular reportoire of rock classics, including Neil Young, AC/DC, Guns & Roses and The Cult.
On July 11th, 9.30pm-11.45pm there will be live music from the female fronted rock band, Broken Image. Broken Image is a five-piece Classic Rock covers band from Swindon covering the likes of AC/DC, Sabbeth, The Cult, Maiden and many more.
Formed in early June 2013 they have brought a tight and energetic feel to the music and are guaranteed to get your feet stomping and heads banging.
