White Horse Health Centre staff are collecting cash donations to be used for a Christmas shopping spree this December.
This follows many years of supporting Crosspoint, a non-profit organisation in the Market Place, Westbury and the Foodbank Centre, Warminster.
The health centre says, “At this time of year it is a time to think of others less fortunate, the homeless, families struggling and the elderly. Following discussions with volunteers at Crosspoint, the shopping list is vast, consisting of essentials such as toilet rolls, personal hygiene products, nappies, pasta, rice, tinned food and also pot noodles and instant food, just needing hot water to be edible.
“The White Horse staff will be shopping for supplies which will be donated to the Foodbank Centre, Warminster, and Crosspoint, Westbury.
“We will continue the Foodbank donations with a look to focus on school holidays when the need for help increases.
“We would like to take this opportunity to wish everyone a very Merry Christmas and Happy New Year, from all of the staff at the White Horse Health Centre.”
