THE next talk at the Dilton Marsh Local History Society will be by the archivist and heritage service manager for Wiltshire Council, Terry Bracher, who will be entertaining people about the horrible and curious history of our county.
The talk will take place on Friday 24 February, at 7.30pm, Dilton Marsh Memorial Hall followed by tea/coffee and biscuits
Organisers say, “The subjects covered include gruesome remedies, strange deaths, curious incidents, local feuds, rebellions, crooked behaviour and lots more. But, rest assured, there is the occasional happy ending! Questions will be appreciated.”
All are welcome, entrance fee is £4 for non-members and £2 for members. Annual membership fee is £7.
