WESTBURY’S Imperial Charity will be setting off on another coach trip, with a day out in Banbury.
The trip to Banbury will be on Wednesday 11th April with local pick-up points (details will be on the ticket). Banbury is a market town on the edge of the Oxfordshire Cotswolds, although recently re-modernised, still features old alleys and quiet corners with two of Banbury’s famous inns remaining.
Places of interest include Banbury Museum, The Village of Aynho that features a grand Elizabethan Mansion and also Broughton Castle and Church. You could also enjoy Banbury Cakes – special fruit and pastry cakes, that are still produced in the town.
A donation of £7.50 per ticket will be asked for with the exception of people with special needs and their carers who will travel free. Tickets will be available from their High Street and Warminster Road Charity Shops in Westbury and the Warminster Hub from Tuesday 3rd April.
Future trips include Swanage on Wednesday 9th May and Weston-Super-Mare on Wednesday 13th June.
