The charity has now finalised their programme of coach trips for the coming year.
Bob Summerfield, the charity manager, said destinations have been selected by a combination of the results of the survey at the end of last year’s trips and members of the charity using their vivid imaginations to come up with new destinations which hopefully everyone will enjoy. They will be using the same coach company as last year, Real Coaches of Codford, saying they always provide an excellent service.
Dates for the trips have been selected again by a combination of coach availability and people’s preferences. There is one exception to the usual Wednesdays and that is the trip to Abergavenny which is on a Tuesday. Bob said, “We have managed to keep the price of tickets to £7.50 but of course people with special needs and their carers go free. There will be no pre-booking of tickets, so everyone gets the same opportunity of getting one. Tickets will be available on the Monday following the advertisement in the White Horse News and Warminster Journal. They will be available as usual from both of the charity’s shops in Westbury and the Warminster Hub. A leaflet showing all dates and destinations is available now from the same locations.”
