WESTBURY Infant School recently established a new school council and at their first meeting, they discussed fundraising ideas for charity. The children decided they wanted to raise money to support the Wiltshire Air Ambulance.
They made posters advertising a cake sale to be held at the school and asked for donations with the theme being hearts. One of their pupils, Freya said, “The air ambulance helps people’s hearts when they are poorly.”
The cake sale was a great success for their first event and raised over £169 for the charity.
