WESTBURY Inner Wheel Club recently had a stall at the Westbury Christmas fair in the Westbury Leigh Community Centre to help raise money for local charities.
The stall was organised by Julie Street and the Christmas items on sale were mainly handmade by various Inner Wheel members.
Julie said, “We were very pleased with the amount of money raised which will all be donated to local charities.”
The Inner Wheel Club is a part of the Rotary Club.
There was a raffle for a Christmas hamper and a ‘name the Snowman’ raffle for the children. The snowman was knitted by Inner Wheel member, Jackie Pike. The draw for the raffles was made at the end of the afternoon and the winners have received their prizes.
