ZEN Shotokan Karate club is holding a charity event on Saturday 20th June 12.45-5.00pm at Leigh Park Community Centre in Westbury.
All proceeds will go to the charity, Disability Karate Federation. Malcolm King from ZEN Shotokan Karate club said, “We want to help raise awareness and support for a charity that provides opportunities for those that would otherwise find it difficult to participate in.”
There will be a cake sale, a raffle and a ‘name the karate teddy’ competition.
“The community centre has provided the halls for free so all proceeds will go direct to the charity, who may also be in attendance.
“Our club covers the Warminster, Westbury and Beckington area, we hope to also include many of the local Karate clubs and associations in the area.”
