Westbury Lions Club celebrated the 49th anniversary of its Charter with a black tie dinner and dance at The View at White Horse Country Park last month.
One of the most important social events for the club, the Annual Charter Night is a celebration of the founding of the club in 1973.
Club president Tracy Sheppard welcomed members and guests who included Westbury mayor Sheila Kimmins, Lions Past District Governor Freddie Massey and White Horse News owners Susan and Ian Drew.
During the evening, long service awards were made to David Firth for 40 years’ service and Stephen Clinch and Jarvis MacDonald for 10 years’ service.
