WESTBURY Lions Club’s bookshop is looking for a new home.
The shop, which stocks over 7,000 books, moved to its current location on Edward Street in June last year after having to move from its previous location on Warminster Road.
But the club has announced that they are on the move again and are appealing to the community to help them find a new home.
The club reports, “It is with sadness that we must report that our premises on Edward Street has recently changed ownership and as of mid-June will be closing, so that the new owner can take possession.
“We are grateful to the previous and new owners for their support and generosity in allowing us to use the building while it was empty. With this news in mind we are once again appealing for anyone with empty premises in Westbury who may be able to accommodate us to get in touch.
“All of the money we raise in our bookshop goes back to the community, so please help us ensure our local hub can continue to support the town.”
