TWO local groups joined forces earlier this month, helping to raise £550 for national charity, Marie Curie.
Members of the Westbury Rotary Club and Westbury Lions collected the money at Morrisons supermarket in Westbury on Thursday 28th February and Friday 1st March.
President of Westbury Rotary Club, Mervyn Harris, and Westbury Lions’ Peter Baker said, “We wish to thank Morrisons and the people who so generously supported this collection. The outcome was exceptional.”
Marie Curie offers practical information and emotional support to anyone living with a terminal illness or caring for someone.
