THE nights are drawing in and it’s getting a bit chilly outside but who cares when you can head down to Charlie’s for great music entertainment.
On Friday 9th October, ska and reggae band Boy Le Monti will be performing their distinctive take on the old school ska and rocksteady dance music from Jamaica in the 1960s. Classic Ska tunes and soulful rocksteady songs to lift your spirits as well as your dancing feet.
On Saturday 10th October, glam rock band StOp, sToP return to Charlie’s. Hailing from Spain, this three-piece rock band will transport you back to the 80s when the metal was glam and the hair was big. Playing a blistering set of riffs, thundering guitars and soaring vocals Stop,Stop aren’t afraid to put on a show, as well as tonnes of make-up!
On Friday 16th October, regulars at Charlie’s, covers band Black Widow are back. The crowd love them and they always put on a great performance. These are not to be missed.
On Saturday 17th October, cover band Stoned F take the stage at Charlie’s. They regularly play at pubs, clubs, parties and events and their set list covers a mix of pop, rock and classic rock songs dating from the 70s through to the present day.
