THERE is a variety of live music and entertainment at Westbury Conservative Club, put the dates in your diary before you miss out!
Popular bands and solo acts have been booked to play, free for all.
On Saturday 22nd February Peter Burns will take to the stage to perform live from 9pm. Peter is a musician, singer, songwriter who has released over 15 albums in 20 years. He plays a mix of new and familiar music blending original songs with re-workings of popular songs and forgotten music in a unique finger picking style. Utilising loop pedal, harmoniser and guitar percussion, he produces a fuller sound than you’d expect from a solo performer.
Then on Saturday 29th February join cover band Legacy. Organisers say, “Legacy are a four-piece band from West Wiltshire playing guitar-driven rock in pubs and clubs.
“A top class female vocalist is backed by three vastly-experienced musicians. Good PA and lights and pro-quality gear completes the recipe.”
The rest of the scheduled year is as followed, but may be subject to change: Sat 28th Mar – The Blue Rose Band, Sat 11th Apr – Cleyhill Stompers, Sat 25th Apr – Custryd Pye, Sat 9th May – Homer, Sat 30th May – People Like us, Sat 6th June – Abbaholics, Sat 20 June – Uncle Jack.
