Providence Baptist Chapel in Dilton Marsh will celebrate its 215th anniversary with special services to mark the milestone.
Daryl Jones, director of Grace Baptist Mission, will be the speaker on Saturday 6th September at 4pm.
On Sunday 7th, services will be held at 10.30am and 6pm, with Paul Pomeroy from Grace Church in Yate as the speaker.
The chapel has long supported the mission, which has been spreading the gospel of Jesus Christ worldwide for over 160 years through church planting, Bible translation, radio broadcasts and other activities.
“Everyone is welcome to join Providence in giving thanks for God’s goodness through another year,” said a spokesperson for the chapel.
