Pupils from local primary schools performed at the West Wiltshire Dance Festival this month.
Children from Dilton Marsh CofE Primary School and Westbury Leigh CofE Primary School joined other local schools to perform at the festival at the Bath Forum. The annual festival has been running since 2006 and offers a non-competitive platform for schoolchildren to explore the world of dance.
“What an incredible evening,” said a spokesperson from Westbury Leigh Primary School. “Your costumes looked fantastic and your moves were absolutely amazing – you should all be so proud of yourselves!”
A spokesperson from Dilton Marsh Primary School also praised the pupils from their Year 5 and 6 dance club for their performance, which closed the festival.
They said, “The children were impeccably behaved and performed their Fireflies dance to close the show. Thank you to our wonderful dancers, we hope they have made lifelong memories!”
