Schools from across the area took part in a day of fundraising for Children in Need last Friday.
Pupils and staff at Bratton Primary School and Bitham Brook Primary School took part in a non-school uniform day on Friday 14th November.
“Our Pupil Voice committee planned to hold a kindness day today to support Children in Need,” said a spokesperson from Bitham Brook Primary School.
“Children were asked to wear bright colours to celebrate kindness and set themselves a challenge to do as many acts of kindness as they could in one day.”
Admin officer at Bratton Primary School, Louise Bunce, said, “It was a day of much laughter and fun and was a joy to see so much yellow and spotty clothing across the school.”
“It’s important for us as a school to take part in Children in Need because it helps our children continue to learn about kindness, helping others and coming together as a community. Even small activities help them understand the importance of caring for those who may need a little extra support.”
