A trustee of Westbury support charity Crosspoint is stepping down after more than 10 years, as three new trustees join the team.
Hilary Fairfield will step down in December but will continue volunteering with the charity.
“Hilary has been an invaluable volunteer working closely with our clients,” said Crosspoint Chair Kevin Fairman. “In addition to the day-to-day functions of the Treasurer role, Hilary has done a superb job with grant applications to local funding bodies. This has enabled Crosspoint to expand and develop its services to the local community.”
Crosspoint provides a range of services to people in Westbury and the surrounding villages who need help or support. They assist with letters, forms, government benefit checks, job applications and counselling.
Hilary will continue as Crosspoint’s treasurer until a replacement is found.
Three new trustees have joined Crosspoint’s board: Cath Rose, Sheila Kimmins and Andrew McNeilis.
Kevin Fairman said, “They bring invaluable knowledge, skills and experience to Crosspoint and will be at the centre of the charity’s development in the coming years.”
