Four lucky neighbours in Westbury are quids in after their postcode has netted them a £1,000 cash prize each with People’s Postcode Lottery!
The Newtown residents, who all play with the postcode BA13 3EF, scooped the daily prize on Thursday 15th March.
People’s Postcode Lottery ambassador, Judie McCourt, was on hand to congratulate the winners. She said, “I’m thrilled for our winners in Westbury. It’s great to see neighbours winning together and I hope they enjoy spending their prize!”
A minimum of 32% of ticket sales goes directly to charities and players of People’s Postcode Lottery have raised £282million to date for 4,000 good causes across Great Britain and internationally.
A local cause near the winners that has received funding is Purple Elephant Productions CIC. The group was awarded £2,000 last year to run free family activities through the school summer holidays.
