A new scheme this summer offers local people the opportunity of making or updating their will with Goodwills and helping local registered charity, Fairfield Farm College, at no additional cost.
Fairfield Farm, based in Dilton Marsh, is a specialist college for students with learning disabilities offering young people flexible residential, day and weekend courses.
Goodwills Legal Services Ltd is a well-established regulated law firm that has been assisting local families for many years. Goodwills offers a helpful and professional home visit service to assist people with wills, home protection trusts, lasting powers of attorney, prepaid funeral plans and a range of other related services.
Goodwills will make a substantial donation to Fairfield Farm College for each person who books their appointment on 01373 593193 and mentions the charity at or when arranging their home visit appointment.
A donation will also be made to Fairfield Farm College for other work such as lasting powers of attorney, prepaid funeral plans and home protection trusts.
There is no additional cost to local people who will still benefit from low prices such as only £88 for a standard single will or only £148 for two standard mirror wills for a couple.
Michael Rhodes, local senior consultant with Goodwills said, “I have been impressed with the work Fairfield Farm College does with young people and the facilities it provides to the local community. We offer an individual, caring and professional service to local people and I am delighted that we can also support Fairfield Farm College in its valuable work.
“I am sure local people will be pleased to know they are helping to support this great local charity whilst also gaining the peace of mind and protection of a professionally drawn up will, trust or lasting power of attorney.”
Tina Paget, principal of Fairfield Farm College said, “The valuable support from Goodwills will help to fund our work with young people and enable us to develop our facilities and the range of courses that we are able to offer.”
