Two mixed competitions have been played recently by the ladies’ section of Westbury Golf Club.
A Mixed Texas Scramble, held on Wednesday 1st August, was won by the team of Pauline Chisholm, Mark Darwin and Tony Dolman with a nett score of 64. The runners-up were Fiona Belson, Tim Baker and Terrence Mumford with a nett 65.8.
The Chairman’s Cup, played on 4th August, was won by Marrilyn Bonniface and Terry Turner with a nett score of 64.20. The runners-up were Maureen and Roger Heard with a nett score of 65.40. Ten pairs took part in this competition.
Last week, the medal played on Saturday 11th August was won by Tina James and Fiona Belson came second. There are no competitions for the ladies this week.
