Dr Andrew Murrison, a former Consultant, has been pouring over the Wiltshire, Swindon and BANES STP published yesterday.
He said, “A lot of work has clearly gone into this and I congratulate the STP team. The report certainly won’t win any prizes for plain English but at first glance it looks much like the others already in the public domain and largely unremarkable.
“I am worried about an oblique reference to community hospitals which I’m asking for clarification on. With so-called bed blocking in our acute hospitals at a record high I do not want to see community beds cut or my constituents offered a cheap solution that doesn’t work.
