THE evening of Friday 13th proved to be an unfortunate one for those visiting Westbury’s Chalford House Hotel, as they were embroiled in a ‘murder mystery’ case.
Around 50 people converged on the hotel for a night of intrigue and detective work, as well as a three-course meal.
The entertainment was courtesy of ‘Murder By Appointment’, a provider of authentic murder mystery events.
During the evening, would-be detectives, including the famous Hercule Poirot, investigated a ‘murder’ by questioning various characters, played by costumed actors.
All ended well in true detective fashion as, despite the inevitable red herrings, all was revealed and the ‘murderer’ was brought to justice.
