Probus Westbury, has changed its name and is now called The Active Retirement Club or ARC.
Chairman Bruce Hewitson said, “Many members believed that our club needed the name change to reflect its role in Westbury society and we hope to attract growth in the membership.
“The club has a wide range of activities throughout the year which could attract a wider membership. These range from top quality speakers on a wide range of subjects, quizzes, outings, quarterly luncheons and much more besides.
“ARC will be exhibiting at the Discover Westbury event, Paragon Hall on 22nd September 10.00am till 12noon; our first opportunity to showcase the club’s activities. We look forward to seeing you at the show.”
