RESIDENTS in Hawkeridge Park organised an annual ‘Big Lunch’, with this year’s event bringing beautiful sunshine, food and live music on Sunday 3rd June.
Neighbours were given the opportunity to bring a picnic or a dish to share with everyone and enjoy live music from local young talents including Niamh Flanagan, Tom Piner, Kai Jones, Kane Pollestrone, Ollie and the Accidentals and Wade Merritt.
Organiser Tracy Griffin said, “It was a brilliant day, neighbours brought food to share, as did the local WI, neighbours painted faces and made slime, local young students played music all afternoon. It was a fabulous fun day.”
