AS we have eased out of lockdown, Leigh Park Community Centre are wanting to reunite the older people of our community with a new ‘Golden Hours Social Club’.
Aimed at older people in the community, the new club will meet weekly on Thursdays between 10.30am and 12.30pm.
Organisers say, “The club offers the opportunity to meet new friends and be part of the bigger community. The club meetings include games, raffles, bingo, monthly lunch plus much more. There is an entrance fee of #2.50 which includes a hot drink and a raffle ticket for the Christmas raffle, which will take place on Thursday 16th December, along with an extended meeting to include a Christmas lunch for #5.
