WESTBURY’S Horse and Groom pub has opened a brand new bed and breakfast across the road from the main building.
The popular pub on Alfred Street now has B&B rooms available in a nearby Victorian town house.
Bob Musker, owner and landlord of the independent Horse & Groom said, “We are very excited about the new business and everyone who has seen the new rooms already has been very complimentary.
“With the closure of the Old Pottery B&B and the sad demise of the Lopes Arms Hotel, we were constantly being asked for accommodation, so when the large house across the road came on the market, we jumped at the opportunity.
“We have spent three months developing the property using local tradesmen, replacing just about everything including the gutters. Breakfast and evening meals will be served in the pub across the road and we’ve even provided umbrellas for our guests!”
The rooms feature en suite bathrooms, Egyptian cotton bedding, work desks, smart televisions, and even individual Tassimo coffee makers. The first two rooms to open also feature king size brass beds.
