IT was officially recorded by Wiltshire Council on Thursday 19th March that cllr David Anderson has been elected as a town councillor for Westbury’s North Ward.
Cllr Anderson was the only candidate in the by-election and won by no contest. He stands independently, and will sit on the council’s Highways, Planning, and Development Committee.
He is the youngest member of the council at just 31, and has lived in Westbury for 10 years with his wife and two children.
The next meeting of the Highways committee will be on Monday 20th April.
