Brush down your lederhosen for this year’s Westbury Oktoberfest which will take place on Saturday 28th September 12 noon till 10pm at the Horse and Groom, Alfred Street, Westbury.
This year’s Oktoberfestbiers will include the return of, ever popular, Hofbrau, Lowenbrau and Paulaner, plus three additional lagers including newcomer Spatenoktoberfestbier.
German food and live sing-along music will make this an Oktoberfest to remember. Tickets are £8 (18+ only) including a festival glass and first drink. Tickets are available from the H&G , telephone 01373 859433. Entry will be by ticket only.
Organisers say, “We are pleased to announce that Keeva Travel have donated a sensational two-night European break, including flights, for two people for this year’s draw. Last year’s prize was won by Tim and Tanith Martin who chose to go to Munich, very appropriate!
“This will be the fourth year that the event has taken place. Monies raised will go to good causes in the local community. Previously, local schools and youth groups have benefitted from the funds raised by Oktoberfest.”
Organisers are expecting a large take up of tickets for this year’s event and recommend you order tickets well in advance.
