MATRAVERS students will perform ‘Oliver’, a musical inspired by Charles Dickens’ ‘Oliver Twist’, to the public from the 7th to 10th February.
The show will be performed at the school four times during show week, daily from Tuesday 7th February to Friday 10th.
The school’s newsletter says, “Oliver rehearsals are well under way and the students are looking really impressive. This year sees many firsts treading Matravers’ theatre boards; new names appearing on the principal cast list; lower year students having greater roles; primary school students opening the show!
“Students are joining us from many of our feeder schools and we have been incredibly pleased with their hard work and commitment. There really is a great deal to be excited about!”
