YOU’LL find a huge selection of books at Westbury Lions bookshop on Warminster Road, and with Christmas looming it’s the perfect place to buy your loved one a gift.
With paperback books for 75p and hardbacks £1, you won’t get better value anywhere else this Christmas. Plus, all children’s books are free!
Westbury Lion, Jean Lucas who volunteers in the shop said, “The bookshop has been in Westbury for over 15 years and we have a steady stream of customers. It’s a wonderful shop with a huge selection of books on a wide range of topics. Gardening, cookery, health and fitness, history, helicopters, fishing, science – we’ve got it all!”
Lion Peter Barker said, “We want to remind local people that we are here. We’re easy to miss because we’re on the side of a main road but there is plenty of parking further down. We would love more people to come and see what’s on the shelves.”
Jean continued, “I love reading and think it’s so important to encourage children to read as well and we have such a wonderful selection to choose from. And of course, all the money raised goes back into the town so it’s all for a good cause.”
