The 2014 Pink Ball was held The Venue, Center Parcs and was once again hailed as a huge success.
At this year’s event over 200 guests arrived dressed in black tie and posh frocks and enjoyed a glass of fizz followed by a full three course dinner, during which they were entertained by Sandie Ince of Sticky Toffee Jazz. Guests then went on to enjoy the rest of the evening dancing to Bonkers disco. There was also a crazy photo booth and photography by MG Photography.
The event was organised by friends Jane Cryer and Sue Woodhouse and was in fact the fifth charity ball to be held by the pair at Center Parcs, the first one was held in 2005 and organised to celebrate Jane’s successful treatment for breast cancer.
This year’s event raised a total of £3,900 and was held to raise money for Cancer Research, Breast Cancer and Macmillan Support and each of the charities will receive £1,300. Over the five Pink Balls a total of approximately £24,000 has been raised and donated to a number of charities including the above and also Ovarian Cancer and Dorothy House.
Jane and Sue would like to thank everyone for their continued support and help with the Pink Ball, especially their amazing guests, friends and family who helped out on the night, and also everyone who donated money and raffle prizes. They would also like to thank the corporate team and staff at Center Parcs for all their help and support over this and the previous Pink Balls.
Special thanks also goes to Center Parcs for once again showing their support by kindly donating a holiday break for the draw.
