PUPILS from Dilton Marsh Primary School recently raised £116 for Wiltshire Air Ambulance by holding a cake sale.
Following an assembly about the charity, a number of children were inspired to raise money for it.
The school’s Sarah Slarke said, “Following an evening of cake baking and decorating, Evie, Madison, Rebekah and Jay from Beech Class ran a cake sale at the Dilton Marsh table top sale on the 4th March and raised £116 for the air ambulance.
“They made sponge cakes, scones, wonderfully-decorated cupcakes, fruit cakes, rocky road and even a mystery cake which involved guessing the TV character.
“We are all very proud of their efforts and their desire to do what they could to support this very worthy cause.”
