A quiz night hosted by the Inner Wheel Club of Westbury has raised funds for a guide dog charity.
Over 50 people attended the recent event in Grassacres Hall, which raised £370 for Guide Dogs UK, the world’s largest guide dog organisation.
Presidents Maureen Boyd, Chris Bristow and Helen Slade presented the cheque to local fundraiser Hilary Reed.
“Hilary Reed is well known for her part in training many potential guide dogs and fundraising,” said club correspondent Julie Street. “Hilary attended the evening with her latest puppy Elsie, who is 20 months old, and will soon be moving on for her next chapter, and then the process starts again hopefully with a new puppy.”
The Inner Wheel club is always welcoming new members. To find out more, visit www.innerwheel.co.uk.
