Westbury were far too slow out of the starting blocks and Radstock made them pay to take the points.
The hosts cruised into a 3-0 lead before half an hour had been played! For the first time this season United deployed the same team as the previous fixture, but too many players had off days!
On a very heavy pitch the opening goal came in fortunate circumstances after 6 minutes when Ryan Child’s set piece from wide on the left curled into the far top corner!
However there was no fortune when the hosts went 2-0 up 5 minutes later ; Jack Metcalf swung a cross in from the left wing and the ball found Callum Hinder who finished with ease. Town, with full back Liam Planter their stand out player, had further chances before Tom Stocks set up the 3rd goal on 27 with another left wing cross which was headed in by Metcalf.
United had a few chances to pull a goal back before half time but Sam Clift had an effort blocked while Brett Partner’s corner was headed goalwards by Callum Cooper but Ashley Maw got down to save.
Much of the 2nd half was something of a non event, the hosts were happy to settle for their victory while the visitors rarely threatened.
Callum Hotine saved very well to deny Adrian Harvey, Mark Lenihan and Planter while at the other end Clift set up Lanfear but Maw made a fine save.
