FAIRFIELD Farm College in Dilton Marsh is hoping to raise enough money to buy Lyas the horse, who is due to be sold.
Lyas has been on loan to the college and has become a much loved member of the college community. Unfortunately, he is due to be sold unless the college can raise enough money to buy him.
Helen Beer, on behalf of Fairfield said, “Friends of Fairfield, staff and students are now planning fundraising events to try to raise money to buy Lyas and to keep him here at the college so he can continue his fabulous work with our students.”
“So, if you have any ideas to help raise these funds please email me – helen.beer@ffc.ac.uk join our 100 club or support upcoming events such as the Friends of Fairfield quiz on 18th March. Please help us to raise this money to secure Lyas’s future with us!”
