Established Westbury and Warminster tutors Ray Bradfield and Al Summers have been running successful workshops and evening classes for many years now.
Their most popular course has proved to be acoustic guitar adult evening classes, with regular participants requesting more classes every year. Friendly and informed tuition takes place in a great social atmosphere – with excellent coffee and biscuits!
From January, six-week courses will be available for both beginners and for those improving their guitar skills. Ray and Al are also able to source good quality instruments for those who do not already possess a guitar.
The Registry of Guitar Tutors have long offered graded exams for all kinds of guitar players, but only now is there an official syllabus for the four-stringed phenomenon, the ukulele. With grade books still hot off the press, Al Summers and Thomas Hiscocks have teamed up to host both individual lessons and group sessions for the local area. These will be structured to fully prepare you for any exam if you wish, or for those who would just like to play for fun in a friendly environment. Included will be chords, riffs, songs, and some blues – ukulele isn’t just a novelty or children’s instrument! Workshops will cater for a range of musical tastes and ability levels.
