The Rotary Club of Westbury have collected £630 for survivors of the Nepal disaster.
“On Friday the 1st May we collected outside Morrison Supermarket for the disaster in Nepal,” said Rotary member Sue Ezra.
“As usual the people of Westbury gave most generously. The town people of Westbury never cease to amaze me with their kindness even in this time of austerity.
“The money collected came to over £630 and this will go to providing Water Survival Boxes. Imagine you lost everything, how do you and your family survive? These boxes provide a way of purify water and supply essential items for days following the disaster.
“Once again the Rotary Club wish to thank everyone for their support.”
