Children at Bratton Primary School recently enjoyed an interactive concert from the Bratton Silver Band.
The pupils took part in the session, which featured a variety of popular songs, and was led by Lydia Ross.
Louise Bunce, admin officer at the school, said, “Lydia kindly introduced the Bratton Primary School students to the wide variety of instruments in the band and some children were invited up to have a go at playing them. Every child managed to make a very impressive sound! Lydia encouraged the children to clap in time to the music, march and sing to Disney songs, George Ezra and Taylor Swift.
“It was a wonderful afternoon and great to hear the school so full of music and singing! It was also lovely to see a range of ages performing with the Bratton Brass Band, and especially lovely to welcome back a former Bratton Primary School student!
“We hope her talent for playing brass instruments will encourage more students to join the band.”
