SECURITY firm Prosec Consultancy are back where they belong with brand new offices following a fire that destroyed their base in 2013.
The locally run company has rebuilt its headquarters after it burned down with half of the Oakfield Business Centre 13 months ago.
Prosec has had to repair an estimated £180,000 worth of damage. In doing so they took the opportunity to double the size of their premises, which now incorporates two units at the Oakfield Business Centre on Stephenson Road.
Business development manager Brian Bennett has been with the company for over two years.
Brian said, “The business was building well until the fire, which was obviously a huge setback, but we have worked hard through this last year and are coming back to be bigger and better than ever.
“How well we performed last year is a testament to our vision, and to the grit and determination of everybody on our team.
“We spent a lot of time and money rebuilding our headquarters and are very proud of how it’s turned out. Prosec has started a more professional looking approach; we now have a dedicated receptionist, high quality equipment, and twice as much training space which people are travelling across the country to use.
“It’s going far better than we expected it would a year ago. The quality of our service is improving all the time, and continued to do so even while we were at our temporary premises. We even achieved our ISO9001 accreditation whilst operating from the temporary office.
“There really is no job too big or too short notice for us – if someone needs us, we will be there. Customer satisfaction is our top priority.
“We’re looking forward to gaining a lot more local contracts in the coming year, and to continue expanding and delivering first class training courses. Coming back from this has proved the team’s professionalism and how serious they are about making Prosec Consultancy the best it can be.”

They have a large roster of skilled and experienced employees, all of whom are fully licensed by the Security Industry Authority (SIA) and First Aid trained.
