Westbury Town Council is inviting local retailers to a ‘Shopkeepers’ Forum’ to discuss the issues and challenges they face trading in the town.
The forum will take place at the Laverton on Tuesday 11th June, from 6.15pm, and will allow local retailers to have their say on a number of issues and initiatives and how they might work together with the local town council.
Cllr Mike Sutton, chairman of the town council’s events working group said, “This event is an opportunity for our traders to come together and have their say about how we can improve the retail environment in Westbury.
“We’re aware that our shops are facing lots of challenges, as are many High Streets across the country, but we want Westbury to be a town that bucks this trend. The event starts a 6.15pm and we expect it to last about one hour, but we’re happy to spend more time if wanted.
“We hope to see lots of local traders at the Laverton on the 11th and look forward to hearing everyone’s views.”
