POP-CAN’S first skateboard event was held last week.
On Thursday 29th July ATB Skateboards held the first of the Skateboard Events arranged by POP-CAN and supported by 4Youth who came armed with drinks, cake, and biscuits. During the day some 70 children and young people joined in with the games, tuition, and fun.
Families came to watch the children from 5 years to young people up to 19 years happily displaying their scooter bicycle and skateboard skills, with the older young people helping the younger ones.
The organisers said, “When asked all present agreed that they would come back on Thursday 26th August when ATB Skateboards will be back for another Skateboard Event Day between 11am and 3pm.
“POP-CAN wish to thank Ellie and Sam the outreach workers for 4Youth for their support on the day.”
