The popular Christmas Tree Festival is returning to All Saints Church in December, with organisers inviting people to sponsor a tree.
The festival will run from Friday 5th to Sunday 7th December, with around 50 trees on display, decorated by families, schools, charities, clubs, shops and businesses.
The price to sponsor a tree is £26, and sponsors can keep the tree after the event. The trees can be decorated with any appropriate theme, but sponsors are asked to use battery-operated lights.
“We welcome new sponsors to join in with the event,” said organiser Sharon Jones. “It is always interesting to see the novel and imaginative ways the trees are decorated.”
Refreshments, a raffle and a fundraising stall will be available at the event. There will also be a variety of musical entertainment, with the organ playing festive music on Saturday 6th December.
